Our kitchen staff are highly trained and experienced. When a new resident comes in, our staff – who are also experienced nutritionists – will discuss any individual dietary requirements so they can make sure everyone gets a well balanced, nutritious and interesting menu each day. We also seek and respond to feedback from residents to find out what they like and what they don’t like, so the menus will evolve and continue to suit the needs and desires of the individual. Its all about choice!
We work closely with dieticians, specialist nutritionists, HSE and the Infection Control Team. Our service is monitored and there are strict & audited quality control measures to ensure that the best food is provided with the highest standards of dining experiences.
Meat is sourced from a local butcher and the local farms supply us with eggs, milk, vegetables and other food items. We are passionate and patriotic about supporting local bussinesses and take pride in working closely with our beautiful and unique community.
