Our dementia friendly accomodation provides a warm, stimulating and comfortable environment for the people who live here.  Residents's views, wishes and desires are considered in any home improvement or changes. The regular residents/family/friends meetings creates a platform for open, friendly and productive communication with management.

Residents' bedrooms are personalised and respond to people's needs and wishes in line with NICE Quality Standards  that state that " Housing can be designed or adapted in a way that helps people with dementia manage their surroundings, retain their independenbce and reduce feelings of confusion and anxiety"(Quality Standard 30, 2013).

Of importance, we are fully aware that residents do not live in our workplace, but we work in their home. To us, its personal.
