We aim to address the holistic needs of individuals. The Grange works closely with visiting staff/professionals who complement the efforts of regular staff in providing person-centred and best care possible. Allow us to introduce some of them to you on this page.
Susan comes into the home at least once a week to see to people's hairdressing needs. She has vast experience of working in care homes in this role. This is evident in how she makes the whole hairdressing experience exciting to the ladies and gentlemen who live at The Grange. Susan has time to talk to the residents and shows interest in their well being. She is patient, intelligent and understands residents' issues. Combined with her tactful and effective communication skills, she is an assert to our home. Residents look forward to her visits. Even those residents and families who choose to engage other external hairdressers appreciate her humour. Apart from her charisma and approachable character, Susan collects feedback for management to better improve other aspects of people's lives that otherwise might have been overlooked.
Even though she operates as a self-employed hairdresser, visitors and residents alike find it difficult to separate her from regular care staff.
